Overview:
The Imamat Course is a comprehensive programme aimed at preparing individuals to take on the important role of an Imam in the Muslim community. As the Masjid is the centre of Islamic life, the Imam holds a key position as a leader, guide and educator. This course equips learners with the essential knowledge required to fulfil these responsibilities effectively. It covers important areas such as correct Quranic recitation, Islamic beliefs, Taharah, Salah and funeral Salah, along with rulings related to Zakah, fasting, marriage and divorce. Students also gain knowledge of Quranic information and Halal and Haraam matters. By completing this course, participants develop the ability to lead Salah correctly, ensure the validity of worship and provide accurate religious guidance. They also gain confidence in addressing common questions and issues faced by community members, making them well-prepared to serve as responsible Imams.
Who Is This Course For?
This course is for anyone aged at least 16 years who can accurately recite the Holy Quran by looking at it and can read and write Urdu very well.
